- Ash watched the refugees get comfortable around the ship, but her mind was not focused on them. Something naggled at her mind. "So, do you think we got them all?" Asked on of her pilots, joining her at the railing. "No" she replied "I'm sure a few managed to get out on their own, before we moved in." Her eyes narrowed, she remembered what was bothering her. The claw marks on the craft had been four pronged, but any beast that would have been able to take down a sky ship in this area had either three or five claws. Ash sighed, although she had confirmed her suspicions to herself, no one here would listen. Her commanding officer was a pompous man. A decent man, to be sure, but a pompous one. His heart was in the right place, but he believed that he knew everything. Which made Ash's job difficult sometimes. He had made it very clear that if she would continue with her conspiracy, he would have her locked in her rooms for the remainder of the trip. He didn't want any trouble. " I don't want any trouble either" she thought resigned "but it always seems to find me." "We are making good time" the gravely voice of the FlightMaster shocked Ash. "We should be in the capital city by noon in two days if we keep this up" Ash twisted her mouth in a wry smile. "That's great. We didn't exactly plan on having 30 odd people joining us- hopefully our supplies will last that long" She voiced, looking into the gruff old mans face. He looked and sounded scary, but Ash had never seen him act aggressively towards anyone. "Ash, we saw something in the sky, it didn't look like a bird, and we're sure none of the scouts are out yet. Commander requests you take a look" the main cabin boy interrupted, with a nervous glance at the FlightMaster. "Alright" Ash responded, bowing slightly to the FlightMaster, and vaulted over the rail onto the lower story. "bunch of little monkeys, you Airpilot people" the FlightMaster huffed to Ash's other pilot "no respect for stairs." Ash waved cheekily to him as she took off into the breeze, climbing towards the speck on the horizon.
